The national capital reported 96 cases of COVID-19 with nine deaths in the last 24 hours, government data shows. And 212 people also recovered. Though the low case came on Republic Day, its overall positivity rate has also been on a decline in recent weeks.

The city's positivity rate, which had shot to about 15 percent at the peak of its third wave of infections throwing up about 8,500 cases in a day, now stands at 0.32 percent.

There are 6,34,325 total cases of coronavirus in Delhi. Of these, 6.2 lakh have fought off the highly infectious disease taking the overall recovery rate to 98 percent.
